John Mouse
Who is John Mouse? John Mouse was yet another character created by Roger Hargreaves in the late 1970s. There are 7 John Mouse stories in total and you will find it hard to find them in the shops today, so you may find them on auction sites such as eBay. Many things may remind you off the Mr Men and Little Miss characters in the book if you read them, and below are a few interesting facts about the books that you may not have known. The reading age of the books is a little above the Mr Men and Little Miss series, but are still all as loveable. John Mouse is a small mouse that lives in the garden of Appletree Cottage. He can be a bit cheeky and naughty at times as you will find out below.
Interesting Facts
In the Mr Men book of Mr Impossible, you can see him reading a book upside down. That book is in fact a John Mouse story. Also, John Mouse has two twin sisters, Amelia Mouse and Sophie Mouse. This is the name of Roger Hargreave's twin daughters, the same two that Little Miss Twins was based on. Below are some pictures of Mr Impossible and the twin mice.
